Fees and Application

Middle School  Fees

$375/month (Sept-May) or $3,375

****2nd child discount fees: $275/month  

High School Fees

$400/Month (Sept-May) or $3600

****2nd child discount fees: $300/month

How and when do I pay fees??

Monthly fees are due by the 1st Academy day of each month September-May.  You can pay with Venmo, check made payable the Shining Light Academy, or cash.  

What is included in tuition??

  • 3 days per week of in person instruction

  • 2 days per week of scheduled independent work

  • Assistance with course descriptions, transcripts, credit hours, graduation, college preparation, etc.

  • all daily activities and supplies

  • lab equipment and supplies

  • assistance with grading and tests

  • group curriculum/co-op licensing

  • monthly optional social gatherings

  • local field trips

What is NOT included in tuition??

  • Individual curriculum, books, workbooks, and novels (est. around $300)

If you are interested in applying to Shining Light Academy, please fill out the application below.  You can print your application and return it to me in person or email it to shininglightacademyjessica@gmail.com.  After submitting your application, I would like your student to submit a letter/essay telling me a bit about himself/herself and why HE/SHE would like to be a part of Shining Light Academy.  You may submit your application first to get the application process started, but your application will not be considered complete until your student submits his/her essay.  I will notify you through email when applications have been received and processed.
